Come join us for an in-depth Bible study available to ALL! We meet every Monday evening at First Baptist Church of Columbiana from 6:30pm-8:00pm CST. Our class also offers virtal and remote core group options. This is available for men, women, couples, youth and children. Childcare is available forall ages. Our study for the class year 2026-2027 will be on the Books of Genesis and Colossians.

Currently Studying: Colossians, Genesis

This year, we will be studying chapters 1-22 of Genesis and then the book of Colossians. We will complete Genesis in the 2027-2028 class year. Genesis is the book of beginnings. The place where we rediscover the God who formed creation with purpose and breathed life into humanity with love. Explore the book of Genesis and see how God spoke the universe into existence, and how he is still speaking through creation today. You'll discover humanity's noble calling and how sin fractured what was good and how from the very beginning of this separation God began a plan of restoration, not by human effort but by his promise. Genesis reveals a God who is faithful even when we are not. A God who still invites us to trust Him. The God who has always been faithful and who will make all things new. Colossians is a letter written to combat error in the church. Paul pointed believers at Colossae to Jesus as the Head of His body, the church. Paul also told the Colossian believers that they had fullness in Christ.

Next Gen Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, worship, games, and other activities, we seek to provide a welcoming and engaging environment where the next generations can learn about Jesus. Our offerings are tailored to a child’s developmental stage, starting with babies, and going through high school. Beginning in our elementary classes, our curriculum can be aligned with an adult class so that parents and their children may study the same Book of the Bible, enabling parents additional opportunities to assist their children in living out God’s truths in their lives.
